Fundraiser started for owners of home that burnt down in East Liverpool

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - A fundraiser is currently live for a family who lost everything in a house fire in East Liverpool over the weekend.
The GoFundMe was started by Anthony Coles, whose aunt lived with her son in a home on the 1200 Block of Erie Street that burned to the ground on Sunday.
"I mean everyone knows her, she’s worked at the local Family Dollar for 30 years and so she sees everyone day in and day out and it’s just, everyone calls her Aunt Queenie and it is just love," Coles said.
Carolyn Foster, affectionately known as "Aunt Queenie" around town is still at a loss for what happened when visiting the charred remains Tuesday night.
"There’s no words I can even like say to you because it is just hard, its like you don’t know what to say actually, you don’t know what to say, what to do, you just go with how things are," Foster said. "Everything gone, gone, yeah, everything. I have nothing, I mean I have nothing you know, nothing at all."
The call came in around 6 a.m. Sunday morning. The fire was so intense, it damaged vacant homes on each side.
In three days, the GoFundMe reached its $5,000 goal.
"With the love and support from this community and East Liverpool, it took off quick and so within three days it reached its goal and so to help them and get them to where they need to be for now," Coles said. "In times of need we all just come together and help each other out, it’s just a blessing."
The support is lifting Foster's spirits as she digs deep to find the strength to move forward.
"When you fall, you got to get back up, you can not stay down because you know what, God gives us strength to move on, so, you just have to do what you gotta do and with a community it is always there but you know with yourself, you got to do for you to," Foster said.
While the road to recovery will be a long one and words can't describe her loss, they can describe the love Foster has for her community.
"I want to say to each and everyone that has helped me and who has always been there for me, I just want to let them know that I love them and appreciate everything they have done for me you know they are just great, good people," Foster said. "East Liverpool Ohio, hey guys, guess what, I love you and you guys are the best, you guys are the greatest and hey without you, I’m telling you I love you all."
Coles's goal with the fundraiser is to have the community give back to his aunt and cousin just as they have for their community by donating to help them cover immediate needs as they recover what was lost.
