Mahoning Valley - As reports of widespread cellular outages were made throughout the U.S. Thursday morning, 911 centers in the Mahoning Valley said they weren't affected.

AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Verizon and T-Mobile have widespread outages reported, according to the website downdetector.com.

As of 1:50 p.m., the most reported outage locations for AT&T services are Houston, Chicago, New York City and Miami. Cricket Wireless and Verizon also are having most of their outages in big cities.

While this could be causing issues in other parts of the country, 911 centers here at home are not reporting any issues.

21 News spoke with Mahoning, Mercer and Trumbull county dispatch centers, with all of them saying they haven't had issues with incoming calls or their own phone services.

NBC News reports that outages for AT&T users surged to more than 71,000 just before 8 a.m.
