Beaver Local district breaks ground for indoor fieldhouse
The fieldhouse will be named after Beaver Local graduate & former NFL player Derek Wolfe

The Beaver Local school district will soon have a state of art indoor facility.
The nearly $7 million dollar project will be named after former Beaver Local product & former NFL player Derek Wolfe.
The facility is being built adjacent to the current football stadium and is not costing taxpayers any additional money and no money from the operating budget is being used.
According to district treasurer Stacey Williams refinancing of bonds, covid-19 relief money and donations are paying for the project.
The facility will be specifically for district students and include a fitness area, weight room and 50 yard field.
It's the first such structure at a Columbiana County school and is due to open in July 2025.
