Prop bets on college sports will not be allowed.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission  approved the NCAA's request to stop these type of bets following reports of harassment of student athletes.

According to Matthew Schuler, the Executive Director of the OCCC, operators have until March 1 to implement the new restrictions.

Prop bets are based on an individuals performance such as points scored or the number of touchdowns scored.

Schuler went onto say "I have determined that good cause supports the NCAA's request to prohibit player specific bets because this request will safeguard the integrity of sports gaming and will be in the best interests of the public."

Schuler added he realizes they're may be a small negative impact to the operators but the protection of the students athletes and the integrity of college athletics for outweighs these impacts.
