Penguins hoping for Detroit upset win over Oakland

The Youngstown State men's basketball team finished its regular season with a 22-9 record & 14-6 in the Horizon League.
The 22 wins and 24 a year ago are the most wins in consecutive seasons since 1957 & 1958.
The Penguins still have a chance to win a share of the conference championship if Detroit (1-29 & 1-18) beat Oakland (19-11 & 14-5) Saturday.
"Be rooting for the Titans on Saturday," said Coach Jerrod Calhoun. "I think Coach Kampe (Oakland) should take care of me, we've become good friends, and rest some of his players."
Oakland is 14-5 in the conference and earned the overall number one seed no matter what happens Saturday, since they swept YSU during the regular season.
The Penguins, currently second in the conference earned a first round bye and are one game ahead of Green Bay who play Milwaukee Saturday.
The Penguins will host a game, Thursday, March 7.
