Former clients of suspended Valley attorney reimbursed for incomplete services
Former clients of a suspended Mahoning County attorney have been reimbursed for incomplete services.
According to Court News Ohio, five former clients of suspended attorney Robert Rohrbaugh II were reimbursed a total of $9,750 as a result of Rohrbaugh's failure to provide or complete these requested services.
Rohrbaugh was suspended from the practice of law back in February of 2023 following a felony conviction of conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, aiding and abetting theft of government property, aiding and abetting false claims against the United States and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
These charges stem from Rohrbaugh's role in a scheme to steal more than $1.3 million from the IRS. He assisted two co-conspirators in obtaining a tax relief check for a fictitious business for the amount of $1,352,799.
Additionally, four former clients of deceased Valley attorney William Kissinger, who died in March of 2023, were reimbursed a total of $77,704.59 as a result of services left incomplete prior to his death.
