Ohio - Governor Mike DeWine released a report on the Intel corporation's progress towards two new semiconductor manufacturing facilities in Licking County.
So far, the company has spent around $1.5 billion through December 31, 2023, with an additional $3 billion contractually committed.
Intel had 69 employees from 14 different counties working at the project site, and construction workers from 75 of Ohio's 88 counties have contributed to the project as of December 31, 2023.
Suppliers have grown from 150 to more than 350 suppliers across 47 different counties. Top suppliers include Bechtel Construction, Gilbane Building Company, and Linde.
