To celebrate Women's History Month, Valley Partners hosted an event to bring female leaders in the community together.

Over 300 women from across the Valley attended the leadership summit at the Eastwood Mall.

Youngstown's Director of Economic Development Stephanie Gilchrist says that women in leadership often think differently from others and that's what makes them successful.

"There's so many different facets to us as women, so I think embracing that in your leadership skills and style is what makes us unique and successful in business," Stephanie Gilchrist, Youngstown's Director of Economic Development, said.

The summit also included a panel of five women who are leaders in their respective fields and a keynote presentation from Youngstown Municipal Judge Carla Baldwin.
