FOWLER TWP., Ohio - Members of the Canadian Forces Borden are conducting Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training in Trumbull County Wednesday.

Kirila Fire Training Facilities, Inc. is hosting the Canadian forces in Fowler at a manufacturing plant on State Route 7.

The training includes a full-size F-35 fighter jet getting set on fire to give the Canadian Forces Borden realistic crash and fire scenarios. The training is being done with propane fire in a controlled environment.

These training props are used by fire departments and training academies to teach the right techniques and safety when responding to a real crash-fire rescue.
