Stray animals in Trumbull County will have a new place to go to when they're rescued and tomorrow, the public is being invited to check it out.

The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project is opening its new shelter's doors to the public to tour the 6,400 square-foot facility and meet the more than 70 dogs and cats that reside in the facility tomorrow, March 30.

The open house will also double as an adoption event where folks can begin the process of taking home their new best friend.

Adoption fees will be $75 for dogs and $25 for cats, according to a Facebook page advertising the event.

Doors open at 9 a.m. and will go through 6 p.m.
