The Howland Local School District has a new way to help people get around its campus.

According to the release, the district unveiled the Tiger Transport, a 12-passenger electric golf cart funded by the district's business partnership program.

The Tiger Transport is part of the district's commitment to meeting the needs of everyone in the school community including senior citizens, people with physical challenges and those who may have an injury.

It will be used to shuttle people from parking lots to facilities on campus, notably during events and activities.

"Our business partnerships are integral to the success and operations of our school district. This new electric golf cart is a prime example of how these partnerships enable us to acquire necessary equipment that enhances our overall operations and provides valuable support to our students and their families," said Howland Local School District Superintendent Kevin Spicher.

The Tiger Transport will make its debut at Howland's graduation ceremony Thursday.
