Several Valley businesses and leaders were honored for building trust in the community during the Better Business Bureau of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley's Torch Awards.

Torch Awards honor businesses and leaders who have high standards for their services and how they interact with clients.

The 2024 honorees include Soft Touch Furniture, Rick's Ranchwear, and CompCo.

"They're doing this because they have pride in their work, their employees and pride in what they do, carrying out their products and services each day," BBB Youngstown and Mahoning Valley President and CEO Melissa Ames said. "They're helping to make the Valley a better place."

A handful of high school seniors from around the Valley were also honored.

They were awarded the BBB Ethics and Integrity Scholarship to inspire the next generation of great business leaders in the Mahoning Valley.
