The Northeastern Athletic Conference is adding Middlefield Cardinal in the 2025-26 school year.

Conference principals approved the Huskies entry as did the Middlefield school board. 

Grand Valley Schools return to the NAC for the upcoming 24-25 school year.

The NAC will have schools in five counties (Trumbull, Ashtabula, Lake, Portage & Geauga)  beginning in the 25-26 school year.

The league consists of:
 
 Badger, Bristol, Bloomfield, Southington Chalker, Maplewood, Mathews,  Lordstown,
Windham, Pymatuning Valley, Grand Valley, Ashtabula Saint John, Fairport Harbor, & Middlefield Cardinal.
