Sharon stabbing, robbery suspect 'Most Wanted'
One of the men suspected of stabbing a man in the face during a robbery in Sharon has been added to the list of Pennsylvania’s Most Wanted Parole Absconders.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 35-year-old Robert Lee Pegues III who faces six charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, and conspiracy.
Sharon police filed the charges after a man was stabbed in the face during a robbery at City Foods on Division Street last Thursday evening.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police found a vehicle possibly linked to the crime outside a home on Charles Steet in Hermitage. That’s where officers arrested 48-year-old Shannon Clarke and 34-year-old Larry Moore Jr.
Both suspects are due in court on July 31 to answer charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and aggravated assault.
Pegues, also named as a suspect, remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous according to police.
Pegues has been named as a parole absconder for failing to report to his parole officer.
If you have any information on Pegues's whereabouts, you're asked to call Sharon PD at 724-983-3210 or the Mercer County 911 Center at 724-662-6110.
