Canfield adds cameras to school buses to catch driver safety violations
The district transports about 1,400 students daily.

CANFIELD, Ohio - The Canfield School District is adding a camera system to school buses this school year.
According to the district's newsletter, the cameras are able to film vehicles violating stop arms and warning lights while students are getting on and off buses during routes.
Local law enforcement will assist with any violations picked up by the cameras.
Canfield School's transportation covers 35 routes including 26 regular, six parochial and three van routes which cover over 350,000 miles each year.
The district transports about 1,400 students daily.
