21 News has just obtained body camera video from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) providing a closer look at the aftermath of a deadly plane crash that claimed the lives of three people in Trumbull County back in July.

Troopers with OSP's Southington post responded to the scene near the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport for a plane crash that killed two adults and one child from Quebec, Canada.

The three were identified as 54-year-old Jawdat Khawam, 45-year-old Martine Arseneault and eight-year-old Daphne Khawam.

The footage shows what the scene looked like once troopers arrived showing the remains of the plane after the flames from the crash were doused and the plane under a tarp.

Firefighters can be heard conversing with troopers about the crash with a firefighter discussing the loss of power to an engine.

The crash happened the evening of July 19 two hours after the plane took off from Plattsburgh, New York.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating several factors that may have caused the accident including the pilot the aircraft, and the operating environment.
