Agents from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, have arrested 44-year-old David Tribble, who was wanted for the July 2024 fatal shooting of 51-year-old Jermaine Tillis.

Tribble was apprehended Thursday evening at a residence in the 600 block of Mistletoe Avenue in Youngstown, after a two-month manhunt. He is accused of fatally shooting Tillis during an altercation on East Judson Avenue early on July 11, 2024.

According to the Youngstown Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting just after 5 a.m. on July 11. The victim, later identified as Tillis, was found in a driveway with a gunshot wound to the head.

The investigation later led to a warrant being issued for Tribble's arrest.

The arrest of Tribble follows a reward offer from the U.S. Marshals and NOVFTF for information leading to his capture.

Tribble has been booked into the Mahoning County Jail and is awaiting further legal proceedings. He faces charges of aggravated murder in connection with Tillis's death.
