Trumbull jury finds man guilty in deadly Warren bar shooting

A Trumbull County jury has convicted a Warren man of aggravated murder.
The jury found 43-year-old Zaa Von Hameed guilty of aggravated murder in the death of 21-year-old Nathaniel Bradley. The jury also found him guilty of a firearm specification that will require a mandatory consecutive three-year term in prison.
Hameed, who could face a life prison sentence, is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Andrew D. Logan.
Hameed was convicted in the May 2024 fatal shooting at the Park Place 24 Tavern in Warren.
It was the final straw for this bar, which is now permanently closed after Warren police said the tavern was a trouble area that had police presence "numerous times." In the days following Bradley's death, the city reached an agreement with the owner to shut it down.
The shooting happened after a reported altercation between Bradley and Hammed occurred before the shooting.
