OSP to team up with Michigan State Police to combat impaired driving for Ohio State, Michigan game

Ohio & Mahoning Valley - College football fans across the Mahoning Valley and beyond will be gathering for one of the biggest rivalries in college football on Saturday.
The Ohio State Buckeyes will be facing off against their longtime rival the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, November 30 in what is known as "The Game."
Those who decide to celebrate the game with alcohol are reminded to drink responsibly and have a designated driver ready if needed, as the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) and Michigan State Police will be cracking down on impaired drivers on the roadway.
“Whether you’re cheering for Scarlet and Gray or Maize and Blue, safe driving habits are key. By following speed limits, properly wearing a safety belt and designating a sober driver, we can ensure everyone enjoys The Game safely and responsibly,” said OSP Superintendent Charles Jones.
Both agencies remind fans to drive sober or have someone sober drive them home and not to serve alcohol to anyone under 21 years old.
The Game kicks off Saturday, November 30 at noon.
