The Ohio Attorney General issued an announcement December 20 cancelling the 'Endangered Missing Adult' alert.
The original statewide alert on Friday asked for help in the search for an 86-year-old male that drove away from a gas station in Wilmington at 9:30 a.m. and didn't return.
The incident took place on Transylvania Pk in Lexington, KY.
James French, 86, was described as 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighing 152 pounds and having brown eyes. He was also described as wearing a maroon t-shirt and khaki pants.
The attached picture shows that French has white hair on the sides of his head.
Officers say French drove away from the Duke & Duchess gas station in Wilmington in a green 2004 Toyota Sienna with a Kentucky plate.
