Cleveland woman accused of driving while intoxicated in Warren with child in car

A Cleveland woman is facing charges in the Valley after police say she was found driving while intoxicated in Warren with a child in the car.
According to a police report, police were called to a McDonald's restaurant shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday when an employee noticed a car parked in front of the restaurant with a woman nodding off and a baby in the back seat.
Police found the car when they got to the scene and knocked on the window to get the woman's attention.
Police say the woman, identified as 36-year-old Trista Vlasic told officers she took the child to McDonald's to get food, but fell asleep in the car because she was tired.
Police say there was no food for the child, who was in a car seat in the back of the car.
According to the report, when police asked Vlasic where she lived, she gave incorrect information with slurred speech. It was then Vlasic was asked to perform a field sobriety test.
Police determined Vlasic to be impaired and arrested her for OVI, as well as endangering children.
According to court records, Vlasic was arraigned on those charges on Monday and is due back in court March 25.
