Hubbard man indicted on felony charge, accused of shoplifting almost $2K worth of goods

A Hubbard man has been indicted on a felony charge in connection with two instances of alleged theft from two separate stores in Boardman.
Danny Geisler, 36, of Hubbard was indicted on one count of theft (F5).
There is no word at this time of when Geisler will appear in court again.
Geisler was arrested by police three months after a cashier of a hardware store in Boardman reported that a man had left the store without paying for $1,431 worth of goods.
After reviewing tapes from the hardware store, police believed that Geisler shoplifted two electric trimmers and batteries, 19 gallons of paint and six paintbrushes.
Geisler is also a suspect of a shoplifting incident in a mall in Boardman from late March last year where more than $540 worth of clothing was stolen.
