The Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for entries into the hall until June 1.

The hall of fame nominates up to 20 veterans every year based on recommendations made by the executive committee of veterans from Ohio and final approval coming from Ohio's governor.

The hall of fame see's this recognition as a way of saying "thank you for your service to our nation and thank you for your continued service to our communities."

The media release states that in order to be viable for the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame you must be a military veteran, a past or current Ohio resident, have received an honorable discharge and to be of good moral character.

The hall of fame encourages those who know a veteran who falls under those criteria to submit a nomination through the website provided at the link below.
