Over $150,000 awarded to Mercer County municipalities to support projects
"I am excited about the many ways in which this funding can be used by our local municipalities to support projects that will benefit their residents," said Representative Parke Wentling (R-Mercer).

According to a news release, over $150,000 in grants has been awarded to municipalities across the 7th Legislative District, encompassing some parts of Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
According to the release, the funding will be distributed between 15 municipalities.
The funding is awarded through Act 12 of 2012, according to the release.
"I am excited about the many ways in which this funding can be used by our local municipalities to support projects that will benefit their residents," said Representative Parke Wentling (R-Mercer).
Municipalities receiving funding, and their amount of funding, include:
- Shenango Township - $43,308
- West Middlesex Borough - $602
- Sharon - $4,199
- Sharpsville Borough - $1,332
- West Salem Township - $8,527
- South Pymatuning Township - $2,490
- Pymatuning Township - $3,112
- Lackawannock Township - $62,129
- Jamestown Borough - $467
- Hermitage - $12,623
- Hempfield Township $3,097
- Greenville Borough - $4,143
- Greene Township - $2,189
- Farrell - $3,556
- Clark Borough - $527
