STRUTHERS, Ohio - The City of Struthers celebrated Independence Day with its 48th annual parade.

The festivities kicked off at Struthers High School at noon, featuring first responders, community organizations and several different floats.

The high school band also marched in the parade, playing music as they traversed the route between Fifth Street and Smithfield Street.

A 5K and kids run was also part of the festivities.
