The family of a 16-year-old girl killed by another teen gets closure today.

Nineteen-year-old Sierra Limbeck was sentenced to eight years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter of Brittany Fuller.

Fuller was stabbed during a fight with Limbeck outside of a Warren apartment building last summer.

Some family members on both sides of this tragedy say eight years is a long sentence for the crime.

Sierra's sister Sabrina Hinkley says, "I don't think she should have gotten all that time.  I just think she should have got less time because it was an accident."

Evelyn Beeman, Britney's aunt, says, "I don't think that Sierra really meant to kill.  I think she meant to scare and we hope that she gets the help she needs."

After the sentencing, Fuller's family released pink balloons in memory of their lost teen.
