NORTH LIMA, Ohio - A North Lima home, that once belonged to the family behind the Firestone tire empire, will be moved down the street from its current location.

Our print partner, The Vindicator, reports the move helps preserve the home and clears the way for its old location at a tire-testing facility to be used as a parking lot.

The facility's supervisor says Harvey S. Firestone's sister previously used the home.

He says the Firestone Company has maintained the house since a Firestone family friend left it about six years ago.

It will now be renovated. The home's new owner, Tom Ellison, says he plans to eventually sell it.
