NEW YORK - The corporation that operates Northside Medical Center, Trumbull Memorial, Hillside Rehabilitation and Sharon Regional Health System is looking at the possibility of selling off 30 hospitals it owns around the country.

In a recent presentation, Community Health Systems Chief Financial Officer Larry Cash estimated that the corporation could make $530 million from the sale of 10 hospitals,

CHS is considering the sale of another twenty facilities over the next year and a half.

Cash told the UBS Global Health Conference last week that CHS is interested in focusing attention on eleven regions where they own more than one hospital.

There is no word on which hospitals CHS is looking to sell
