Route 62/State Route 7 in Youngstown to be temporarily closed
The Youngstown Street Department has announced that they are partnering with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to remove brush from Route 62/State Route 7 (Himrod Avenue Expressway).
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Street Department has announced that they are partnering with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to remove brush from Route 62/State Route 7 (Himrod Avenue Expressway).
According to a press release, this is happening as part of Mayor Jamael Tito Brown's initiative to clean up the city of Youngstown.
Route 62/State Route 7 (Himrod Ave. expressway) from I-680 and South Avenue will be closed to all traffic Friday, September 21, Saturday, September 22, and Sunday, September 23 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Detours have not yet been posted, but are expected to be released soon.
Route 62/State Route 7 (Himrod Ave. expressway) on and off ramps from Rt. 422 (Madison Ave. expressway) will have partial lane closures during this time.
