A soggy weekend will lead to a brief return of Winter on Sunday
1/2
Friday ends the week on a soggy note with steady rain and drizzle mixing throughout the day.
Temperatures will start and end mild Friday, expect high temperatures in the low to mid-50s.
After a mild night in the upper 40s, rain will continue for much of Saturday. Expect about a quarter to a half of an inch of rainfall accumulation through Saturday Evening.
Sunday Morning is where the forecast gets interesting....
A transition to wet snow is likely to occur late Saturday Evening into Sunday Morning. The snow should move out fairly quickly Sunday Morning but light accumulations aren't out of the question for Sunday Morning.
After the snow exits the area, we will be left with a blustery and cold Sunday with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s and wind chill values in the teens and low 20s much of the day.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Expect high temperatures to return to seasonal levels by Tuesday and milder air to return by the second half of the week. High temperatures should hold in the upper 50s and low 60s heading into the second week of April.
