EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - A Columbiana County judge has denied the City of East Liverpool's request for a temporary restraining order to pull a speed camera initiative from the November ballot.
The ruling means that, for now, voters will get to decide if they want speed cameras.
It was the city's third attempt to block a move, which would take the traffic camera issue to voters.
The judge, however, did approve a temporary restraining order against the board of elections from counting the votes on the speed camera initiative.
Another hearing for that part of the case is on October 16.
