Pennsylvania - The state of Pennsylvania now has 60,622 reported coronavirus cases as of Friday, May 15, 986 more than the reported number on Thursday. Included in the total case number is confirmed cases and probable cases according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. 

Total deaths in Pennsylvania has jumped from 4,218 to 4,342, an increase of 124 over the last 24 hours. Of the 124 new deaths, 89 were a result of reconciliation over the last several weeks; 35 of the deaths were ones reported to the department within the last few days.

Lawrence County has reported one new case, bringing the total number to 72. No new deaths have been reported, leaving the total number of COVID-19 related deaths at seven. 

Mercer County has 83 reported coronavirus cases, two more than reported on Thursday, with no new deaths, leaving the total number of deaths in the county at two. 

In nursing homes and personal care centers, the state is reporting 12,937 total cases among residents and 2,991 deaths across 550 facilities. Lawrence county has reported two facilities with COVID-19 patients, both facility employees. There have been no nursing home and personal care facility-related deaths in Lawrence County. 

Mercer County is reporting one nursing home/personal care center with one patient returning a positive COVID-19 test. There have been no deaths reported at nursing homes and personal care centers in Mercer County. 

Of the total 4,342 deaths in the state, 2,991 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.

Governor Tom Wolf has amended yellow-phase orders for 13 more counties in Pennsylvania since yesterday.
