Sponsor releases statement after raid at home Lynn Bowden was a guest at

Lynn Bowden's corporate sponsor has released a statement after a raid took place at a Youngstown home Bowden was present at as a guest.
Sword Performance issued a statement on June 10, which was the day the search warrant was executed at the home on Superior Street. They said they were made aware of the incident and Bowden cooperated with the agents. He was released following the search.
"We consider Lynn as part of our family. It is hard enough to be in the spotlight full time, and there are going to be times when situations are taken out of context. It is important that we do not cast judgment because of what we see in the headlines, but rather support each other as fellow human beings. We will continue to support Lynn and his family as he makes his way to Las Vegas. We believe in him as a football star, but most importantly, as a father and kind individual. We ask that you join us in this support and lift him up during this period."
The agency representing the Valley native, Element Sports Group, also released a statement. They echoed the same message that Bowden was a guest at the home at the time of the search.
Law enforcement officials said that although no arrests were made, the search was part of a larger investigation being done by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
