GREENVILLE, Pa. - Greenville police have named the suspects involved in a nearly five-hour standoff.

The incident happened Monday at a house along Church Street when officials were trying to serve active warrants on Matthew Thompson.

Police say Thompson barricaded himself in an upstairs bedroom with Haylei Upton and their two small children.

A hostage negotiator spoke to Thompson and Upton for several hours. Eventually, the pair came out peacefully with the children.

Thompson was arrested following the standoff. He's jailed on a $75,000 bond and is charged with two counts of unlawful restraint of a minor, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, six counts of terroristic threats and one count of resisting arrest.

After the standoff, Greenville police investigated Upton's alleged role and say she was an active participant with Thompson.

She's since been charged with two counts of unlawful restraint of a minor and two counts of endangering the welfare of children. She's jailed on a $50,000 bond.

The pair have a preliminary hearing set for August 11.
