Youngstown man faces charges after baby suffers from broken ribs
Investigators think the alleged abuse happened over time since there were healing ribs and fresh breaks.

WARREN, Ohio - A Youngstown man is facing charges after his 2 month old suffered from several broken ribs.
Christopher Elliott, 20, was booked into the Trumbull County Jail Monday. He's been indicted on a felonious assault and child endangering charge.
The charges stem from an investigation out of Warren.
Detective Nick Carney said a family member took the baby to Akron Children's Hospital in Boardman because the 2 month old was acting strange. That's when the baby was found with broken bones. Investigators think the alleged abuse happened over time since there were healing ribs and fresh breaks.
The child is safe with another family member for the time being.
Elliott will be arraigned Wednesday in Judge Wyatt McKay's court.
