WARREN, Ohio - A food drive in Warren Saturday aimed to not only feed hundreds but give COVID-19 vaccinations to those in need.

The Trumbull Health Department at the Monument of Faith Church handed out food to around 13 hundred people.

The boxes full of USDA farm food and the availability of the vaccines made the event convenient for people who have been struggling with access to both.

Organizers say they wanted the vaccine clinic to be provided in a place that they felt comfortable in so it would encourage more people to get vaccinated.

Other local churches, daycares, schools, and homeless shelters also received boxes of food in bulk.
