Weathersfield Local School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Mineral Ridge High School Girl's Basketball coach Amy Harrison on Wednesday night. 

Harrison is an alum to Mineral Ridge and was the leading scorer for the Rams with 1,311 points from 1993-1996 until Alexa Harkins passed her in 2020. 

Last year, Harrison coached volleyball at McDonald High School.  Harrison replaces Matt Cluse as head coach of the Lady Rams
