Warren business plans expansion, gets tax incentives

Trumbull County commissioners approved tax incentives to help a Warren company expand their business and add jobs.
Transglobal Incorporated on North Park Avenue makes parts for the electric vehicle industry.
They sought a 40% tax abatement for 10 years to construct an assembly line, which will add 90 new full-time jobs over the next three years.
County leaders say allowing tax incentives keeps jobs in the area.
"It's going to be good-paying jobs. Most of the income that comes into Trumbull County is through sales tax. So living and working in Trumbull County, they are going to be spending money through property taxes on their housing," said Nicholas Coggins, Trumbull County Planning Commission.
Transglobal is already taking part in their expansion project that they say is an investment of up to $7.5 million.
