Governor Mike DeWine will be honoring 9/11 victims across the state of Ohio.

DeWine has ordered for all U.S. and Ohio flags to be lowered, so the state can honor those who lost their lives on September 11.

In honor of those killed, flags will be flown at half staff throughout all public buildings and grounds across the state on Patriot Day.

The order will be in effect on the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, September 11.

Governor DeWine is also asking that all Ohioans observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. tomorrow, which is  the time that the hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
