The Iron Fit Crew held their second annual Ohio's Strongest Man Competition, where over 80 men and women put their strength to the ultimate test in Struthers on Saturday.

The competition is a national qualifier for the United States Strongman competition in Rhode Island, but more importantly, it is an opportunity to raise money for locals in need.

"Each and every year we try to have a benefactor to raise money," said Alex Ankerman, a marketing coordinator for Iron Fit Crew. "This year it's for Peyton Harbert who is originally from new Middletown. She has a rare form of bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. She is receiving treatment in North Carolina right now so all the proceeds today are going right to her and her family to help pay for treatment, hotel stays, whatever they need really."

Competitors participated in classic strongman events, like log clean and press, deadlift, weight hold for time.
