Boscov's owner says they're ready for shoppers despite supply chain issues

TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - The hustle and bustle of holiday shopping is here. Boscov's at Eastwood Mall said despite the high demand this season and lots of delays going on, they're ready to go.
"Shopping now is always good," Owner, Jim Boscov said, "But we're going to be filled with inventory right now through Christmas. Not a problem."
Boscov said because they own under 50 stores, it's a lot easier to have a solid relationship and communicate with their buyers and suppliers.
"Another thing is size. If you're behemoth, and you need a million pieces of something, that's harder to fulfill than if you're Boscovs with 49 stores and you need 10 thousand of something," he said, "So that coupled with the hard work our buyers are doing, we're just chock full of inventory and that's always been the case at Boscov's and we'll going to be chock full right now until Christmas."
Even furniture that has taken a lot longer to arrive than normal for some, is expected to be in stock.
"We're advertising furniture that we have in stock today so that you can buy it today arrange for delivery, there's no such thing as waiting."
Boscovs will be open on Black Friday from 6 in the morning until 10 at night.
