The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation received grants for its telehealth program at Heritage Manor Rehabilitation & Retirement Community and Levy Gardens Assisted Living this week.
The Federation said that Heritage Manor and Levy Gardens in Youngstown are adding various technologies to help reduce the number of falls and improve balance in patients. The technologies also strive to reduce hospital readmissions.
Heritage Manor and Levy Gardens said they hope to expand on its history of person-centered care and create a better experience for residents, families and staff.
Heritage Manor Adult Day Services provides activities and nursing oversight for elderly people in the Valley.
