East Liverpool girl donates Christmas money to help local animals
While most kids are eager to spend any Christmas money they receive on the newest toy, gadget or accessory, that Santa Claus forgot to bring them, 11 year-old Kendall Horner had other ideas.

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - While most kids are eager to spend any Christmas money they receive on the newest toy, gadget or accessory, that Santa Claus forgot to bring them, 11 year-old Kendall Horner had other ideas.
The Beaver Local student from East Liverpool decided to donate her money by purchasing items for the Columbiana County Humane Society.
She donated $200 worth of supplies, including dog and cat food, blankets and horse supplies.
Horner is a 4H student and says "I knew the animals needed it more than I needed anything else."
The Columbiana County Humane Society posted a photo of Horner on their Facebook page giving the young girl a "huge thanks!"
