YOUNGSTOWN - If you are waiting for gasoline prices to fall below $3 a gallon before filling your tank, be prepared for a long wait.

As of Monday, Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy said only two cities, Henderson, Kentucky and Lawton, Oklahoma had gas selling for just under three dollars.  That was before Russia announced it was sending troops into eastern Ukraine.

As of Tuesday morning, prices in the Mahoning Valley were as low as $3.12 in Warren.

Because Pennsylvania has a higher gasoline tax than Ohio, the cheapest gas we found in  Mercer County was $3.61 in Hermitage.
