Murder trial of Liberty man delayed

WARREN, Ohio - The trial of a Liberty man indicted on multiple charges, including aggravated murder, has been delayed.
Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Peter Kontos was scheduled to begin hearing the case of Felix Olverson on Monday.
However, court officials tell 21 News that a new date will be scheduled for the trial.
Olverson, who turns 57 on Thursday, has been in jail since August 31, 2020, when he was arrested following a two-hour-long manhunt.
Police say Olverson fatally shot William Bryan Ross on the porch of the Keefer Road home they shared.
Investigators say the men had been arguing over money.
Olverson faces charges of aggravated murder with a firearm specification, having weapons while under disability, receiving stolen property, defacing identification marks of a firearm, and tampering with evidence.
