Brookfield Police chase ATV driving without lights at night

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - After saying it has received several reports about All-Terrain Vehicles driving through Masury, Brookfield Police say they have made an arrest.
Late Wednesday, officers say they spotted an ATV traveling on the road with no lights on.
Police say when they tried to stop it, the ATV fled, leading cruisers on a brief pursuit.
Officers caught up with the vehicle, arresting the driver, 27-year-old Joseph Antonucci of Masury.
Antonucci was taken to the county jail and pleaded not guilty to fleeing from police and driving an ATV on the road.
He’s due back in court on July 7.
Brookfield police say they were involved in another pursuit four hours later when officers attempted to stop a motorcycle for reckless driving after allegedly cutting off a cruiser on 62.
The motorcycle fled and led officers on a pursuit until the motorcycle went out of control and crashed.
The driver, Cody Coxson, fled on foot, only to be captured by police.
Coxson was hospitalized for treatment of injuries.
Police say a small amount of marijuana and a loaded firearm were recovered.
Charges including concealed carry, improperly handling of firearms, failure to comply, and resisting arrest are being filed. Police say additional charges may be filed.
