Woman pleads not guilty in shooting that killed Youngstown teen girl

YOUNGSTOWN - The suspect in a Youngstown shooting that killed a 13-year-old girl plead not guilty in Mahoning County Court Tuesday morning.
Shamara Green plead not guilty to charges of murder, felonious assault, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, reckless homicide and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.
Green is accused of shooting and killing London Jones at at what police describe as an "irresponsible gathering of adults" on Carroll Street on Friday, May 19.
Police say Green is a family friend of Jones' mother.
Police do not believe Jones was the intended target of the shooting, and officers say they believe they know who was, but have not released that information.
Officers say they believe the shooting stemmed from an argument that began on social media.
Bond for Green was originally set at $1 million, but was lowered during a preliminary hearing to $700,000.
Her trial is set for July 31.
