A Warren man has plead guilty after officers found drugs and stolen firearm during a traffic stop in Lordstown.
Savion Woodall, 21, plead guilty to an emended indictment of one count attempted improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and one count attempted receiving stolen property.
Judge Andrew D. Logan sentenced Woodall to nine month in state prison.
The case stemmed from incident in May, where Lordstown officers searched Woodall's car and found a stolen gun that was reported missing to the Trumbull County Sheriff's office and narcotics.
The gun was identified as being stolen from a gun shop in Braceville. Woodall bought the gun from an illegal dealer, according to police reports.
