Suspect in Niles drive by shooting arraigned in court

NILES, Ohio - One of the three suspects in a Niles drive by shooting has been arraigned in court on Wednesday.
According to court employees, 25-year-old Anthony Butler appeared in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas where he was arraigned on a charge of felonious assault with firearm specifications. His bond was continued at $200,000.
Butler is one of three suspects in a drive by shooting in Niles from back in July of 2023 on Clay Street. Police say Butler and two other suspects, 25-year-old Dontavious Wallace and 35-year-old Brandy Bajwa were all allegedly involved in the shooting.
Police say nobody was hit by the gunfire, but say bullet holes and shell casings at a nearby home.
Butler's next court appearance has been scheduled for October 18 at 8:30 a.m.
