Two men plead guilty to 2021 kidnapping of Youngstown woman
Both men are scheduled to be sentenced on November 15 at 1:00 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Two men involved in the kidnapping of a Youngstown woman in 2021 both pled guilty to their charges on Wednesday.
According to court employees, both 28-year-old Janarvis Roberts and 45-year-old Farren McClendon pled guilty with Roberts pleading guilty to kidnapping, felonious assault and two firearm specifications and McClendon pleading guilty to abduction and having weapons under disability.
The charges stem from an incident in September of 2021 where the two men kidnapped a woman from her home on Judson Avenue and was later beaten, raped and dumped into a wooded area on the Sharon line near Nelson Avenue.
Both men are scheduled to be sentenced on November 15 at 1:00 p.m.
